Does your kid like dinosaurs? Dinosaurs are exciting for everyone. What can be better and more exciting than life size dinosaur in action right in front of you? You can actually experience it at dinosaur show in Japan.
If you watch the video I posted below, you will instantly know what I mean by life size dinosaurs in action. Literally dinosaurs walk around and fight each other in front of you. Sometimes their tails swing over your heads!
I thought the show was for kids, but WRONG!! It’s so exciting for adults too! Even as an adult, dinosaurs looked so real (not that I have seen one actually…), I was scared when they plunge their heads right beside me. *gasp*
The dinosaur show I went was called Dino Safari 2019. Similar shows are repeated but the name seems to change. The dinosaur show was for 50 minutes and there isn’t a minute wasted.

You don’t get assigned seats in advanced for the type of show I went. Everyone was sitting on the floor. So how were seats decided? (Upcoming shows in Saitama and Osaka have assigned seats.)
When you buy tickets, your tickets are assigned specific numbers. My tickets were 202 and 203 which means my tickets were 202nd and 203rd ones I bought for the show I watched.
When you arrive at the venue, you will be directed to specific area based on the numbers on your tickets. For example, there are areas for 1~100, 101~200, 201~300, 301~400, etc. In my case, I had to go to 201~300 group area.
When the door opens, people from 1~100 group go in first. So they get to select the best seats. I belonged to the 3rd group but my family was still able to get the front row seat. It wasn’t the best location, but I can’t complain because dinosaurs were in distance that I can even touch them if I tried.
Even if you don’t get to seat at the front row, I think you can still enjoy dinosaurs, but if you want the best of best, please buy your tickets in advanced so you get lower numbers. That’s what I’m going to do next!
That’s right! I’m definitely going to watch the dinosaur show again.

Dinosaurs are coming to Saitama Super Arena and Osaka-Jo Hall next this summer! The show is 80 minutes long without a break. So they are more expensive than the one I went. But I think 80 minutes will pass by so fast. 🙂
