■ Address and Map
Here is the map to Rainbow Pool in Showa Kinen Park.
Rainbow Pool is the closest from the Nishi Tachikawa Gate (West Tachikawa Gate).
If you have tattoos (including stickers), your admission will be denied. It has to do with preventing gangster involvement. I see many foreigners with tatoos as fashion or personal preference these days. However, there are still many places in Japan that you cannot enter if you have tatoos even if you have nothing to do with gangster whatsoever. Hopefully, it will change in the future.
What kinds of pools are there?
Here is the map of Rainbow Pool. There are 9 different kinds of pool you can enjoy! I translated explanation of 9 different pools from the official website.

The colorful sliders have 4 lanes (27m yellow, 77m green, 98m blue, 53m red), and there are various ways to enjoy such as lanes that small children can slide safely or lanes that requires special floats. You can slide as many time as you like.
※ If you are 120cm or less tall, you can only use the yellow lane. In addition, children under primary school need to be monitored by their parents. (3 years old and younger children cannot use the slides.)

It is a pool with water flowing slowly around the pool with 360 meters length. After enjoy swimming, you can also do sunbathing on the island in the middle of the pool.
③ Large Wave Pool [water depth 1.2 m]
