Useful Tips
Here are some tips from me to help you make your experience at the exhibition smoother and more valuable.
(1) I went there during Golden Week so there were way too many people. 🙁 I recommend you go there during weekdays if you can.
(2) You can buy tickets at the venue but I recommend you buy tickets at Park Information booth near the entrance of Ueno Park.
(3) Maybe you don’t want to spend too much time on the first floor in the beginning. You will find more famous painting upstairs. It’s okay to go back whenever, so you might want to revisit the first floor later.
(4) You can rent recording device that you can listen to the explanations about each Klimt’s work. I had a one-year-old kid with me so it wasn’t possible for me to spend more than 5 seconds per painting, but I think it would have been much more interesting if I can listen to stories behind each Klimt’s work.
(5) There is a special souvenir made specially for this Tokyo exhibition only!! Go check it out! 😉
Have you been to the exhibition already? How was your experience? I would love to hear about your experience and any tips you may have. Please feel free to leave me comments below! 🙂
Enjoy the exhibition!
